Oracle to Buy Eloqua in $810 Million Deal

The Wall Street Journal:

Oracle Corp. [ORCL +0.09%] agreed to acquire software company Eloqua Inc. [ELOQ -0.63%] for about $810 million, as the company continues to bolster its cloud-based and market-analysis products.

Technology and software giants seem to be betting big on marketing automation cloud services for the new year. This news is extremely exciting for Madison Logic, who’s product offerings have been built to play nicely with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Marketo, Eloqua and Salesforce.
